My name is Ruben Bergsma.

I believe that we need a long-distance runner’s mindset to solve sustainability issues. There are no shortcuts in sustainability. It requires a well-designed long-term plan and consistent effort.

I work with industry, civil society and governments to address sustainability issues by offering a comprehensive long-term approach.

I specialize in sustainable agricultural supply chains, with a focus on cocoa.
